Europan is a biennial competition for young architects under 40 years old organized by the Europan Foundation, with headquarters in Paris. The assignment is to design innovative housing schemes for sites across Europe. The competition encourages architects to address social and economic changes occurring in towns and cities and offers the opportunity for cross-cultural learning and networking for designers and site promoters involved.

In 2011, there were 1826 projects submitted for 49 sites in 17 different European countries. The team formed by Justina Muliuolyte, Tadas Jonauskis (urbanists) and Lukas Rekevičius (architect) was one of 41 winning teams.  Justina and Tadas are both former students of the graduation studio Complex Cities of the Department of Urbanism of the TU Delft
