This workshop and a second one on the 12th of October will be about how we may change and develop local spaces, communities and economies in conditions of globalisation. Workshops will look at ways of promoting inclusivity, liveability and vitality, but will also take account of gentrification and loss of community. Some approaches to promoting community and local economy from the bottom up will be introduced.
