Redevelopment of informal settlements in Mumbai.

In her 2017 Complex cities graduation project Kritika Sha has investigated to what extent the existing production of space in informal settlements is related to its social ties and economic needs, and how it can be incorporated into a strategic framework for future redevelopment schemes. She has focused on development in Mumbai, India. Her conclusions include recommendations on how distinct economic patterns and social networks can be included in schemes.
