Introduction to ArcGIS
16, 23 and 30 November, 7 December 2017, each day from 13:45-17:45
by Bardia Mashhoodi
This course provides an introduction to spatial analyses and design support with ArcGIS, a geographic information system. You will learn to relate spatial data from various sources with place bounded socio-economic data through the use of GIS.
A geographic information system (GIS) is a tool for capturing, managing, analysing, and displaying all forms of geographically referenced information. The sessions focus each on different spatial aspects of network analyses: demographic distribution, different forms of density and accessibility.
