Meet Wil Zonneveld

Wil Zonneveld is particularly interested in planning for metropolitan regions. Besides investigating the performance of territorial governance, he researches spatial concepts as normative interpretations of spatial and urban structures and how such concepts are used to bring actors together. Both fields of investigation are very well suited to link planning research to design explorations, because both have a central concern about the very substance of planning: spatial development.
